The JSHealth Turmeric+ formula contains Curcumin C3 Complex. 

Active ingredients per film coated tablet: 

Curcuma longa (Turmeric) rhizome ext. dry conc. 526.32 mg
            equiv. Curcuma longa rhizome dry 34.21 g equiv. Curcuminoids 500 mg

Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, Rice starch, Povidone, Crospovidone, Croscarmellose sodium, Magnesium stearate, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Hypromellose, glycerin, Carnauba wax.
Contains sulfites.

Vegan formula. Does not contain crustacea, egg, fish, milk, peanut, sesame, soy, tree nut, or animal products.

Note: Our special Curcumin C3 Complex already comes with more proven bioavailability than other forms of Turmeric, without the need for additional ingredients such as black pepper, which can have adverse effects. Please see “What Makes It Different?” tab for more information.

Why we don’t add “black pepper” to Turmeric+:
Black pepper, or piperine, is added to some turmeric products for absorption purposes. We decided not to use piperine in our Turmeric+ formula for several reasons. Firstly, it can be an allergen for some people. Yes, it can increase the absorption of some substances by inhibiting the glucuronidation pathway of the liver, however this does not always mean the good substances. It also directly alters the intestinal barrier affecting permeability and can inhibit the P-glycoprotein-mediated efflux, an essential transmembrane efflux for absorption. There are also reports of heartburn from some products containing piperine/black pepper. Finally, our special Curcumin C3 Complex already comes with more proven bioavailability than other forms of Turmeric, without the need for additional ingredients!
