The golden peas used in JSHealth x Nuzest Protein + Probiotics are grown in France under strict conditions, and covered to reduce the risk of environmental damage and contamination. Unfortunately, due to local regulations, this means they cannot be certified organic. You can rest assured though that the product is pesticide, herbicide and GMO-free. The only 'certified organic' pea proteins available at this time are of uncertain quality, so for the time being we consider JSHealth x Nuzest Protein + Probiotics to be 'better than organic'!

JSHealth x Nuzest Protein + Probiotics is completely allergen-free. It is free from gluten, dairy, GMOs and soy. The Protein + Probiotics can be consumed by children, however their serving amount has to be calculated depending on their age, weight and size. Each serve of Protein + Probiotics contains approximately 22g of protein. We recommend that you calculate your child’s protein requirements and suitably portion their intake.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), the additional protein requirements to support 13.8g gestational weight gain are 1g, 9g and 31g/day in the first, second and third trimesters, respectively. Phytoestrogens are particularly abundant in soy products (including proteins), flax, wild yam, etc. While there are very low levels in some legumes, the protein isolation process we use for our protein removes any significant amounts from the sustainably grown European golden peas, leaving highly purified, naturally derived amino acids and very little else – not even lectins!

The premium golden pea protein isolate used in JSHealth x Nuzest Protein + Probiotics has virtually no FODMAPs due to the natural isolation process, leaving no ‘antinutrients’ that are commonly found in plant-based proteins. All natural flavourings and sweeteners used are FODMAP-friendly. This product is therefore safe as part of a low FODMAP diet.
