Bakuchiol
This plant derived extract provides a natural alternative to retinol without the negatives associated side effects, such as irritation, sensitivity, and hyperpigmentation. It’s clinically shown to mimic the actions of retinol by acting on the same receptors. One study revealed Bakuchiol can function as an anti-aging compound through retinol-like regulation of gene expression. After 12 weeks of treatment with Bakuchiol, participants experienced significant improvement in lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, elasticity, firmness, and an overall reduction in photo-damage. Another in vivo study showed that treatment of the tissue model with 0.5% Bakuchiol provided very similar effects to treatment with 0.05% retinoic acid.
Pomegranate Oil
The fatty acid composition and antioxidant capacity of pomegranate seed oil make it an incredibly efficacious botanical skincare ingredient. Pomegranate’s protective and age-defying qualities are due to its rich concentration of polyphenol compounds, including anthocyanins and ellagic acid. These function to strengthen cell membranes and reduce aging caused by free radical damage, along with preventing moisture loss. Due to the vitamin E and sterols present in the oil, Pomegranate can also provide support for skin regeneration and wound healing, plus barrier repair for dry, sensitive, and itching skin.
Buriti
Extracted from the nuts of a palm native to the Amazon Rainforest, Buriti oil is bursting with a plethora of prized nutrients for optimal skin health, including having the highest levels of naturally occurring vitamin A and beta carotene, which is a precursor to vitamin A, of any oil. When applied topically, these nutrients function as a “natural retinol” to enhance collagen and elastin production. This exotic oil is known for naturally supporting smooth skin texture and firm skin tone.
Avocado
Avocado oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (70-80%), mostly omega 6 and omega 9, vitamin E sterols, and lecithins. They are a good source of repair components for damaged, dry or chapped skin. Topical application of Avocado oil has been shown to increase collagen synthesis and reduce inflammation during wound healing, as well as reduce skin itchiness. We use an unrefined virgin Avocado oil to maintain rich quantities of the beneficial components, which can be removed in more processed forms.

Bakuchiol is generally safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, whereas traditional retinol (Vitamin A) products are not. However, please consult your health professional to check that this skincare is right for you during this time.
No, we have formulated this face oil to be non-greasy and leave no oily residue on the surface after application. To achieve this, we have used a prized blend of highly-absorptive oils that are non-comedogenic (do not clog pores), making it suitable for all skin types and allowing it to sink into the skin effortlessly. Allow the oil 60 seconds after application to merge with your skin. Your face will be left beautifully illuminated but never oily.
We generally recommend using it both in your morning and evening skincare routine, however if you find it works best for you to use only once per day, we advise applying it at night. You will wake up positively glowing!
This oil should be applied after cleansing and lighter skincare items, such as toners or serums, and before thicker products such as creams and moisturisers.
