You Asked, the Nutritionist Answered (on Lean+)

“Do women really need creatine?” “Why is GLP-1 such a big deal?” “Why a powder instead of a gummy?”

Jess Sepel, Founder + Expert Nutritionist, answers your questions on Lean+, our new advanced creatine formula for women.

Why are you so passionate about Lean+?
As a nutritionist, I’ve always wanted to create a creatine formula designed specifically for women. This is the product I wish existed years ago. Powerful, high quality, and enhanced with innovative ingredients to meet your body’s needs.

What makes Lean+ unique is that it combines:

  • Creatine — a well-researched nutrient, shown to support lean body mass, strength, and energy.*
  • Eriomin® — a citrus extract shown to support healthy GLP-1 by helping healthy blood sugar.*
  • Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis — a clinically-studied probiotic linked to supporting gut health and body balance.*

It’s truly a first-of-its-kind formula that brings strength, metabolism, and gut health together in one product.

Is creatine really the most-studied supplement?
Yes. Creatine is an incredibly well-researched supplement. It’s been studied for decades because the science consistently shows benefits for muscle strength, performance, recovery, and even healthy aging. I think it’s one of the most widely studied supplements  because creatine is fundamental to how our cells produce energy. Scientists have been fascinated by it for decades — it impacts muscle strength, exercise performance, recovery, and even brain health. Its wide-ranging benefits make it a constant focus of research.*

Most women don’t realize they have lower creatine stores than men — why is that?
Women generally have lower baseline creatine levels due to differences in muscle mass and hormones. That’s why supplementation can be so beneficial — it helps bridge the gap, supporting lean muscle, energy, and strength in a powerful way.

Creatine and GLP-1 are two of the biggest buzzwords in health right now — why are they both so important?
Because the science is undeniable. Creatine is a highly-studied nutrient in the world, proven to support lean muscle, strength, and energy. GLP-1 is the key hormone that regulates blood sugar and appetite — and our innovative ingredient Eriomin® has been shown to support healthy GLP-1 levels. Together, they speak to both strength and metabolism, which is exactly what Lean+ is designed to deliver.*

What excites you most about Lean+?
Honestly, the fact that it’s a 3-in-1 formula. We’ve brought together creatine, a probiotic, and Eriomin®… All backed by research. It connects strength, gut health, and metabolism in one intentional product.*

What makes Lean+ different from other supplements?
Lean+ is an advanced creatine-based formula designed specifically for women — enhanced with Eriomin®, a citrus extract, and a clinically-studied probiotic. It’s a holistic 3-in-1 formula to support lean muscle, GLP-1 levels, metabolic balance, and gut health.*

Why creatine? And why for women?
Women generally have lower creatine stores, yet it’s thoroughly researched. Supplementing helps support lean body mass, strength, and energy… And maintaining muscle isn’t just about today, it’s about long-term health and confidence.*

How does Lean+ fit into a holistic approach to health?
Lean+ is a 3-in-1 formula that connects strength, gut health, and metabolism. It’s science-backed yet holistic… designed to complement your lifestyle, training, and nutrition so you can lean into your most confident self.*

Why did you add GLP-1 support?
GLP-1 is the key hormone that supports healthy blood sugar. It’s one of the most exciting areas of research right now, and the science is undeniable. That’s why Lean+  includes Eriomin®, a citrus extract studied to help support GLP-1 levels, adding a metabolic dimension to creatine’s strength benefits.*

Eriomin® is a proprietary ingredient that:

  • Supports healthy blood glucose levels.*
  • Promotes increased insulin production.*
  • Boosts GLP-1 levels.*
  • Promotes strong antioxidant activity.*
  • Supports short-chain fatty acid production.*

Why is lean body mass so important for women’s health?
Lean muscle is about more than strength. It drives metabolism, supports energy, and is one of the strongest predictors of healthy aging. It’s key for longevity! Building muscle now is an investment in lifelong wellness.*

How can creatine help women feel more confident?
By building strength and lean muscle, creatine helps women feel stronger in their workouts, energized day-to-day, and more confident in their bodies. It’s about empowerment, not bulk.*

Can one formula really have so many benefits?
Yes, and that’s what makes Lean+ so unique. 5g Creatine enhances exercise performance and lean muscle, while the targeted probiotic and Eriomin® support gut health and healthy blood sugar. It’s a smarter, more complete way to support whole-body wellness.*

Why did you add a probiotic to Lean+?
Gut health is at the core of everything: metabolism, energy, even body composition. Lean+ includes one of my favorite probiotics as a nutritionist. Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis is a strain clinically-studied to support body balance and gut health.

Why did you choose to create a creatine formula as a powder instead of a gummy?
Two reasons: science and benefits. To deliver the gold-standard 5g dose of Creatine — the amount consistently shown in research to support lean muscle, strength and energy — a gummy would require so many pieces it just would not be practical (or good for you).

A powder also lets us include the clinically-studied doses of Eriomin® and our targeted probiotic, exactly as they’ve been researched. That way, you are getting the true benefits of all three hero ingredients in one clean, intentional formula.

And just as importantly, a powder means we can keep the formula pure and purposeful, without unnecessary sugars, additives or bulking agents often found in gummies. Lean+ is about strength, metabolism, and confidence — and a powder was a delicious way to deliver it with integrity.
